Start a duet

Two writers, one poem. Pick a form — echo verse, catechism, or pastoral dialogue — and write the opening line. You will get a link to pass on: the other writer answers with line 2, you answer with line 3, and so on. After six exchanges the poem is sealed at twelve lines, both voices visible.

Form (fixed for the whole duet)

Answer the call, and end your line on its last word: the echo answers back.

One line starts the call; the other writer answers.
